"Steve does impeccable work for a reasonable price. He’s a pleasure to work with, showing up when expected, finishing on time and on budget, and leaving things clean, orderly, and dust-free. Since he does much of the work at his workshop, he minimizes the amount of time he’s at your house drilling and pounding. When people walk into my home, they “oooh and ahhh” about the beautiful wooden accents and cabinets. One contractor I had in before I found Steve looked in wonder at the work he had done for a previous owner and said he’d never before seen such expert work. The project I wanted done presented Steve with quite a problem, as I wanted to put a TV cabinet in where there was a mirrored wall. He thought “outside the box” to find a beautiful solution that wouldn’t cost me a mint. He’s a true Maui gem!"

“Stephen, I know that we've told you how much we appreciated the great work you've done over the years on our bathroom remodel, window replacements throughout the house, and most recently - our kitchen remodel and bamboo floor install.

Now that we've had a chance to live with the kitchen remodel for several months, I wanted to thank you again - this time, formally for your efforts.

During the kitchen remodel, I told you that this job was really my wife's idea. When it was completed, you asked me if I thought it was worth it. At the time I said I was perfectly fine with the old kitchen. All I can say now is that it was totally worth it. Aside from the conveniences like all the slide out shelves and the good feeling of seeing all the updated changes, I'm appreciating the actual work that went into making it this way.

You overcame the various challenges that popped up during the cabinet shipments and devised workarounds that can only be described as custom work. You provided various touches that are not necessarily visible but contribute to the overall quality of the completed job - like the bracing for the granite lunch counter on the island. These and other things you did are what many customers pretty much expect during remodels but rarely ever actually receive. I consider ourselves lucky that we actually received more than we expected.

After everything you've already done to this house, I don't know what else is left. But if something does come up, my wife and I want you to be the one to do it.”
